European Voyage Part Tre: San Gimignano

Ummm when can I move? Talk about perfect, picturesque hilltop Tuscan town. I'm so glad we made the day trip from Siena. We just hopped on a bus a few blocks from our hotel in the morning and were in San Gimignano a couple of hours later. It was such a nice quiet change from Siena. Great shopping!  I got some olive wood cooking utensils, espresso cups, an espresso maker, and three small water colors.  We just wandered around, stopping at shops and cafes, for hours and hours.  I'll spare you my ode to San Gimignano and will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Even in January everything looked so green.

Okay, so I was a little obsessed with this pizza as you can tell by the many pictures.

Cheese, pancetta, truffle oil, and onions.

Swoon!

My mom's tomato and artichoke pizza.

I had a bite, and it was de-licious.

Why drink water or soda when prosecco is the same price?

Creepy  museum of death and torture; I kinda wish we had had time to go through.
